Day 5 : Riley Sims

Well, today we did something we haven't done in a long time............... Absolutely nothing. We woke up in the morning, ate breakfast at the hotel and started packing. It took a while to get home, and when we got home, it was late, and I was tired, so I ate a sugar egg, and believe me, that really pumped me  up!!!!! Then we went straight off to bed. Well, that is all I have to say for the Sims family vacation. We had the best time ever, and most of all, I had the best time ever writing to the readers of this blog. It was fantastic!!!!!!! From everything like setting the fire alarm off and a police officer having to come, to going to Hershey park last minute, this , was a Sims family vacation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Day 3by: Riley Sims

Well, today was basically my family's relaxation day of the week( which is really rare for us). We kinda just went wherever. My dad is being possessed by the book series, "The Hunger Games". He sat and read the book until he was done with the whole thing! At one point, we were about to go to the pool, and my mom was calling him to come and help us get ready. He did not answer. Then my mom went into her bedroom to get her running clothes on ( she decided to jog to the pool), and she looked over and found my dad on top of the dresser hiding from us reading his book!! When we got to the pool, he read there a whole 1 hour and a half!! He finally finished the book, and wants to read the series. But that is not only the funny part of our humorous day!!! At lunch time, we took a drive around Pennsylvania , and ended up at a Chinese buffet for lunch. When we got there we ate and ate and ate, until the waitress came over with a plate full of fortune cookies. Cooper opened his, and shoved it in his mouth chewing it with a weird look on his face. Then we all ate ours and read aloud our fortunes to each other. When it came to Coopers turn, my mom said" Cooper, where is the piece of paper that came in you cookie? " what cookie?" Cooper replied "Oh shoot, cooper open your mouth!" My mom started looking in his mouth. " I think you might have eaten your fortune Cooper" my mom said. " Can I have a new one?" Cooper finally answered. So my mom called over the waitress and she came over with a new fortune cookie for cooper. Then we came back to he house, and relaxed, and watched some movies. I can't wait to see what kind of day tomorrow will turn out to be!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Day 2 By:Riley Sims

Well, today we went to bushkill Falls!!!!! Woke up and got all ready for the big adventure we were About to experience . Then we left about 30 minutes after. It was the best experience you could ever expierience!!!! We decided to take the longest trail although it said it would take 2 hours and 15 minutes, it took us 1 hour and 45 minutes!! It was beautiful from the start to the end! we passed about 5 spots with water falls where we got to hike up some rocks over looking the waterfalls!! Personally, my favorite part of the hike was at the end of the hike , when we were so tired out, but in a good mood, we suddenly we noticed that coming up in our path was a whole lot of steps on the edge of the waterfall. Or should I say, the beginning of the waterfall. And then we walked, and walked, until we reached a bridge that went right across the middle of the waterfall . Brock was really scared to go on it at first, but then he got really tough and finally went on the bridge. It was really awesome. We took lots of pictures, but we are not able to access the internet , in this case, I m not able to put the pictures on the blog until I get home, or with luck, we will get the internt( I am very doubtful on that though). But that is not the only part of our day!! This morning my mom was cooking breakfast, and turned the frier on high. Then she put the bacon on the pan. Smoke went up in every direction!! We were all so happy that the fire alarm went off, right then, the fire alarm went off. We all freaked out. Two seconds later, I look over, and Brock and Cooper have there eyes open wide, breathing into coffe cups!! Crazy boys!!, Back to bushkill.Right after the hike , we went to a park, and had a picnic. And then my mom and dad set up an Easter egg hunt on the closed mini golf courses . When we were finished, we all found coupons from my mom that said " good for one gem mining bag" We were all so cooled out that we got to go gem mining after a long day of fun!! But that is not the end of our day. We were in the car, when we all got frostys because we Finished our scavenge hunt in the car (my Dad made us a scavenger hunt for the trip). Then we got money( from the hunt) and went to this odd store that had random things you could buy! We each got 9 dollars total, I spent mine on a snuggie, book light, color protector( I thought it said a color projector). It was great ! After that we all went back to our house and relaxed after a long day of fun!!

Day one By : Riley Sims

Well,today we woke up and drove 6 ours to finally reach our destination of the Pokonos, PA!!!!!!!! When we got here we were all kinda just relating, and unpacking. Well ou may know that the SMS family's "THING" just ips not to be on vacation and be sitting around relaxing and doing nothing , we even BV a motto, " you should always enjoy he moment!!!!!" Well not quite ,because if o asked my parents, they would add a little bit more, I guess, instruction to it, " you should always enjoy the moment, AND NOT FIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Wich, I have to admit, it is a little hard on everyone on vacation to fight at least once , or twice, or three-. Ned mind the fighting talk!!!! Any ways, we had an awesome time today( mostly exploring this rural area). And we are just about to add to our awesome days so I wil have to go!!! Oh and if ou all were expecting pictures of our day, I completely forgot to bring the camera with me today, but ou can count on some pictures soon!!!!

Day 1 By : Riley Sims

Well, we all were so exited that we woke up at about 6:00 in the morning and all had to stay in bed until about 7:00!!!!  We  are all up and packing the car, and doing some last minute touches to our fantastic trip to Bushkill Falls!!!!! Soon we are all  going to be on the road!!! Brock is sitting at the kitchen table thinking about breakfast, and cooper is sitting confused about if we are going on a boat. He keeps saying one thing,''Oh, when we are on the boat, I need to tell you something Riley" What a silly and confused kid he is!!!!! Well I gotta go and help pack the car, SEE YA!!!!!!!!!!!
